WordPress development for businesses that depend on their website
Custom themes, WooCommerce builds, plugin engineering, and rescues of sites that have grown slow, fragile, or impossible to update.
Sound familiar?
The problems we build for
Your site was built by someone who's gone, on a page builder nobody understands, and now every change is a gamble.
Twenty-three plugins, four of them abandoned, two of them fighting — and the white-screen errors are getting more frequent.
The site takes six seconds to load, and your ad spend is paying for visitors who leave before it finishes.
WooCommerce technically works, but orders still get retyped into your accounting system and stock counts drift from reality.
You've been hacked once, or you're quietly aware that nothing is backed up and nothing is updated.
Urgent — emergency rescue
Site down or hacked right now?
- Malware removal and backdoor closure, not just symptom deletion
- Blocklist and 'deceptive site' removal requests (Google Safe Browsing and peers)
- Hardening plus a tested backup, so this doesn't happen twice
- A written incident report: what happened, what we changed, how to prevent it
Use the contact form or email with 'URGENT' in the subject — emergencies jump the queue.

WordPress Site Audit
The low-risk way to start: a written audit of your site's plugins, performance, and security posture — what's actually wrong, what it costs to fix, and whether repair or rebuild is honestly cheaper. You keep the report either way.
- Full plugin inventory: abandoned, conflicting, and load-bearing, each named
- Performance and security posture with the causes identified, not guessed
- Your Repair Plan — prioritized, priced, and yours to keep

The work, concretely
Custom theme development
Lean, block-editor-native themes built for your content and your team — fast because they only contain what your site actually uses.
- Custom block patterns your editors can compose safely
- No page-builder dependency to hold the site hostage
- Design implemented precisely, responsive across devices
WooCommerce development
Stores built or repaired on WooCommerce: custom product types, checkout flows, shipping logic, and the plumbing that keeps orders moving without manual work.
- Custom checkout and product logic without plugin sprawl
- Payment, shipping, and tax integrations configured properly
- Order flows connected to fulfillment and accounting
Plugin development & integration
Custom plugins when the directory doesn't have a safe answer — and honest integration of established plugins when it does.
- Purpose-built plugins you own, with documentation
- Third-party plugin conflicts diagnosed and resolved
- Existing plugin stacks audited and thinned
Site rescues & rebuilds
Structured recovery of sites that are slow, hacked, un-updatable, or abandoned by their original developer — starting with an audit, not a sales pitch for a rebuild.
- Written audit: what's actually wrong and what it costs to fix
- Repair or rebuild recommendation with reasons
- Content and SEO preserved through any rebuild
Performance, security & maintenance
Caching, image discipline, database cleanup, hardening, and a real update-and-backup routine — the unglamorous work that keeps a WordPress site trustworthy.
- Measured before/after performance work
- Hardening, monitoring, and tested backups
- A maintenance arrangement that isn't a black box

WordPress Development the way we practice it
Audit first, always
Existing sites get a written audit before proposals: plugin inventory, performance profile, security posture. You keep it either way, and rebuilds are recommended only when repair genuinely costs more.
Fewer moving parts
Every plugin is a dependency with its own update cycle and its own attack surface. We build with as few as the requirement honestly allows, and we write down why each one that remains is there.
Staging, versioning, backups
Changes are developed on staging, tracked in version control, and deployed deliberately. 'Editing the live site' is not a workflow we practice, even for small changes.
Does your WordPress site need to talk to other systems?
CRMs, payment providers, booking systems, email platforms, accounting software — sooner or later, most business WordPress sites hinge on an integration. It's one of our three core services, not an afterthought.

FAQ
WordPress Development: frequently asked
Can you take over a site another developer built?
Yes — the process is designed for exactly that. We begin with an audit so you get an honest written picture of what you have, then a plan. No blame theater about the previous developer; some of their constraints were probably real.
What does it cost to hire a WordPress developer?
Repairs and focused feature work start in the low four figures (USD); custom theme builds and WooCommerce projects are larger and quoted fixed-price after scoping. Maintenance runs as a flat monthly arrangement. You'll always see the number in writing first.
Do you build with page builders like Elementor?
We can work on existing builder sites, and we'll say honestly when keeping the builder is the pragmatic choice. For new builds we default to the native block editor with custom patterns — faster sites, no builder license, and no lock-in to a tool your next developer may hate.
Our site is slow. Can you actually fix that?
Usually, yes — but we measure before we promise. Slowness has causes: oversized images, bloated themes, plugin sprawl, cheap hosting, unindexed database growth. The audit identifies which ones apply to you, and the work targets those rather than installing a caching plugin and hoping.
What does WordPress maintenance include, and what does it cost?
A flat monthly arrangement from $150/month: core, theme, and plugin updates applied through our staged process, tested backups (not assumed ones), uptime and security monitoring, and small fixes handled without a new quote each time. You can cancel anytime — maintenance is a service, not a hostage situation.
Do you handle WooCommerce as well as plain business sites?
Yes, both. Brochure and content sites for businesses that sell offline, and WooCommerce builds where the site is the store — including the integrations that keep orders, stock, and accounting in sync.
Will we be able to update the site ourselves?
That's a design goal, not an add-on. Editors get block patterns and settings that are safe to use, plus short written documentation. If routine content changes require a developer, we consider the build unfinished.
